Marcus “Midnight Theory” Vale

Marcus Vale (born July 18, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is an American DJ, radio personality, and electronic music curator. Known professionally as “Midnight Theory,” he began broadcasting on college radio in 2001 before transitioning into syndicated late-night radio programming.

A graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Audio Arts & Acoustics, Vale built his reputation blending underground house, techno, and progressive sounds. In 2012, he launched the nationally streamed show After Hours Transmission, which now reaches audiences in over 20 countries. He is also the founder of Theory Sound Collective, an independent label supporting emerging electronic artists.
